The problem of Niger Delta, is not just costing Nigeria, Oil and Money, its also making Nigeria look bad in the eyes of the World.

It shows Nigeria as a country, that is incapible of putting its house in order.

If Nigerian Government can't even solve the problem of a few militants in the Niger Delta, how can the Nigerian Militery defend its citizens, in the case of an outside attack.

The Government of Yar’adua, need to solve the problem of Niger Delta, ASAP. Deal with the criminals but help the peace loving people of Niger Delta, to work their way out of poverty and pollution.

MILITANCY IN NIGER -DELTA ,A CLOG IN WHEELS TO ECONOMIC GROWTH

For a long time now, there have been agitations from different ethnic groups in Nigeria, over resource control, equity in governance, among other issues. In NIGER-DELTA, there have been no meaningful developments, to show that the area is the main stream of the nation’s economy, as far as oil is concerned. Oil exploration, has made their farm land infertile, their rivers polluted. Seeing, that their livelihood is dependent on farming.

Ken Saro Wiwa the late human right activist was hanged by a military government, for fighting this cause, Asari Dokubo and many others are on the cause.

Regrettably, some elements use this cause, for Abduction of expatriate oil workers, kidnapping for monetary ransoms and attack on oil pipelines, which I believe, is against the vision of the activists.

These developments are detrimental to economic development in Nigerian. As Billions of dollars are being lost annually, as a result of the damages being done on our oil pipelines, and abduction and kidnapping of oil workers in the Niger-Delta region.

Federal Government, under the recent past regime, tried to address these issues, in away that has not translated to reality. For example, the Niger-Delta developmental plans, utilization of 20% proceeds from crude oil, which federal Government promised will get to 50% by 2015.should be endorsed and implemented hastily, for the benefit of the nation.

I hereby, implore the Niger-Deltans, to desist from unpatriotic acts, capable of stagnating the progress of the nation. While, I call on the Nigeria Government, to match their promises to these people with actions.

God bless Nigeria.

South Africans should stop this xenophobic behaviour,it's sin against humanity, there is no way peace can reing in Africa, if this animalistic behaviours exists, or when we kill and harm our own brothers and sisters.

If this behaviour that is exhibited against foregners in South Africa, was also reciprocated against South Africans, in other countries, where South Africans citizens are resident, it would also be another injustice. Enough of this please, we are all Africans.

It's said that the wealthiest spot on this planet is not the oilfields of kuwait or the diamond mine in South Africa. The richest deposits lie in your local cemetry.

Buried beneath those sacred gruonds are dreams that never came to pass, songs that were never sung, books that were never written, ideas that were never shared, inventions that never got beyond the drawing board of mind and purposes that were never fullfilled.

Only a tiny percentage of us who live on this planet will discover and fullfil thier true potentials.

Martin Luther king jr was a great dreamer, Nelson Mandela of south Africa is a great dreamer, these great black men are truely and inspiration, let us learn from them, unite and work together to make our Africa what it should be.

The success of Africa is in OUR hands.

Tradition and Culture is what makes who we are, to know where we come from is to know where we are going.

Our Culture and Traditions bonds us to our Ancestors and ensures that their legacy is never forgotten, and is equally our link to the next generation.

Our Culture is our identity
